Ans: Gordon Moore and Robert Noyce, founders of Intel. Moore and Noyce initially thought of naming their company Moore Noyce but dropped the idea because it sounds similar to 'more noice'. They used the name NM Electronics for almost a year, before deciding to call their company Integrated Electronics or Intel for short. Jaiprabu got it correct.
